Netmining Introduces Website Conversion Optimization Suite, Launches Behavioral Ad Network in US

NEW YORK, NY — July 28, 2009 — Netmining, a leading provider of behavioral marketing solutions, today announced the introduction of its website conversion optimization suite in the US and the launch of its behavioral ad network, Netmining EvolutionSM.

Netmining offers technology solutions that help marketers increase conversions on their websites, email campaigns, display advertising and offline sales channels. On average, only .5-5% of website visitors actually convert into leads or sales. With Netmining, marketers can convert a larger percentage of these customers even after they leave the marketer's site by delivering customized on-site interactions and off site marketing messages (email, advertising) that are specifically tailored to each visitor's current product interests.

Netmining's conversion solutions are already being used by a number of marketers in Europe such as Fiat, Danone and Sun Microsystems. In addition, more than 30 companies are currently testing Netmining in the US, including Borders and Insurance.com.

How It Works
Netmining measures and analyzes more data than typical targeting technologies, including browsing behavior, recency and frequency of visits, past purchase history, search queries, demographics and a calculated "propensity to buy" score. This data is used to craft individual visitor profiles without personally identifiable information (PII) so that marketers can go beyond targeting just segments of the population and tailor their communications to each user's unique interests and point in the purchase funnel.

Netmining's delivery engine then helps marketers engage in a one-to-one dialogue with their customers by dynamically customizing communications — advertising, email promotions, sales offers and online content — based on each customer's unique interest profile.

For example, marketers using the Netmining Evolution ad network are able to remarket to their past website visitors with ad creative that dynamically updates with pricing, product and promotional information tailored to each customer's latest interest profile. Website content and email communications can similarly be dynamically updated to address the site visitor or email subscriber's current product interests.

Integration with Netmining is simple — just one line of website code — requiring minimal technical resources. In addition, little ongoing maintenance is necessary to maximize performance since Netmining's self-learning algorithms continue to improve over time and marketing communications are customized automatically. This makes dynamic customer communication with Netmining both highly relevant for the customer and scalable for the marketer.
