Mediaweek Names Bryan Wiener, CEO of 360i, a 2009 Media All-Star
Recognized by Industry for Outstanding Agency Work
NEW YORK, NY - November 16, 2009 - Recognizing the media industry's best, brightest and most promising agency executives, Mediaweek announced the Media All-Stars of 2009, including Bryan Wiener, CEO of digital marketing agency 360i. Mr. Wiener will be celebrated in an editorial feature to run in today's print issue of Mediaweek and on Mediaweek.com, and will be honored at a luncheon at the Waldorf-Astoria in New York City on November 18.
Mr. Wiener was selected as a Media All-Star for his pioneering innovations in the digital space, specifically in the areas of search and social marketing. In 2006, he saw the beginnings of a powerful trend with the growth of social networks and online word of mouth and built out the agency's social media practice, now one of the fastest-growing divisions at the company. As a direct result of Bryan's perception, "360i is now one of the foremost pioneers in helping brands develop social programs," writes Mediaweek.
"The Media All-Stars program has become the industry's most coveted prize, awarded only to the most deserving individuals, who represent a wide array of talents, insight and vision. In 2009, we particularly looked to professionals who are multidisciplinary experts," said Michael Burgi, Mediaweek Editor in Chief. "Mediaweek is proud to honor such a group, and we look forward to what they will accomplish from here on in, for their agencies and the industry as a whole."
"I'm honored to be recognized by Mediaweek alongside such esteemed colleagues in the industry," Mr. Wiener said. "We're focused on building the agency of the future at 360i, one that will help marketers capitalize on changes in the digital landscape and develop deeper connections with their customers online. I appreciate the acknowledgement that we're headed in the right direction and delivering cutting-edge solutions for our clients."
Mediaweek's Media All-Stars is now in its 24th year. Stars are nominated by their peers and chosen by Mediaweek's editors. The 2009 awards will for the first time feature multidisciplinary experts, rather than winners in individual media specialty categories. Visit www.MediaAll-Stars.com for additional information.
Sponsors for the awards and ceremony include A&E Television Networks and PARADE.
